What it does:

FTPAdddon is a mIRC addon that can advertise an FTP, like other mIRC edtion does. But, if this addon advertises an Serv-U 3.xx FTP, it must be linked to Stat-U, an small tool designed to make statistics. So, the addon can make more detailled ads, with real-time statistics, like in f-serves ads.

How to install:

Decompress the packages in the mIRC directory. You must have a new directory called \FTPAddon that contains this following files:

FTPAlias.ini
FTPScript.ini
Info.dll
Settings.ini
Readme.txt

Next, you may load theses files in mIRC. Enter the following command for that:

/load -a c:\mIRC\FTPAddon\FTPAlias.ini
/load -rs c:\mIRC\FTPAddon\FTPScript.ini

The FTPAdons is now ready to work. Don't forget to configure it...

How to setup:

Once the FTPAddon have been setup, a menu Sub-Menu, called "Serv-U FTP Ad" is available in the "Command" Menu. This sub-menu contains a sub-menu called "Setup". You must enter in this sub-menu to setup this addon.

A little dialog box appears that contains 6 tabs: five for setup the ads #1 to #5, and a tab for setup Stat-U functions.
To configure an ad, you must set the Address, the Login, the Password, the port, the ad delay, the notes and the speed of your FTP server. To activate Stat-U statistic, check the box called Stat-U.

To configure Stat-U, you must set the Stat-U directory, the Serv-U log file, the Stat-U output file, and the delay between the execution of Stat-U and the ad (must be at least 5 sec.). You must also defined what you want to print in the ad. You can choose to print:

Onlines users: Print the number of online users on your FTP like. Ex: Online:(2/4 users)
Accessed: Print the number of session that have been opened. Ex: Accessed:(254 times)
Record: Print the maximum download speed for users. Ex: Record:(28.7 Kb/sec)
Download: Print the number of downloaded files. Ex: Download:(126.23 Mb in 24 files)
Upload: Print the number of uploaded files. Ex: Upload:(17.10 Mb in 8 files)
Date: Print date. Ex: Stats:(Today) if the stats has been computed only on daily sessions.

You must also set the kind of statistics you would like to make:

Day: Choose to compute for the statistics only daily sessions.
Week: Choose to compute for the statistics only weekly sessions (the last 7 days).
All: Choose to compute for the statistics all sessions.

You should be able to start tha ad system. To do that, right-click in a channel windows, select Serv-U FTP Ads, the ads you want (Serv-U FTP Ad #1, for exemple) and Start system. To stop the ad, select Stop System, and to only say the ad, Say Ad.
